Car Batteries Are Starter Batteries
When motorists think about a battery they mean a car batteries The batteries that we use in cars are referred to as starter batteries. These batteries give a short burst of strong electric power that starts the car engine. We only think about our battery when it fails to start our cars. We get up for work on a cold frosty morning and low and behold the car will not start, and panic sets in. We all forget about the first tell tale signs that came before the battery let us down. The time when we were out shopping and it took four or five times to start the car?. All us motorists are guilty of this. In the past we could tell that the battery was going about a month before. The car would turn the engine over a few times before eventually starting the car, then the battery would die. These days “with modern car technology”, the battery dies instantly. This is because of the amount of electronics that a modern car has, and the electrical source is needed for 24hours, things such as alarm systems and immobilizers put a 24hr strain on the battery. This does not allow for time and your car battery fails you at a rapid pace, usually at the wrong time and place. This can be avoided, most good garages and autocentres will check your battery when the car is in for a service and report on the battery condition, but in my experience the customer takes no notice and is eventually confronted with a dead battery. This could have been avoided if the customer had fitted a new car battery when reported to him by the garage.
These days buying a battery is very easy, you can buy car batteries online,
and these batteries are usually cheap batteries. The only thing that you will have to do is to check the battery that you are replacing, it could be an 063 battery or a 075 or even a 096 and order the replacement battery with the same part number . You will see many makes advertised, such as Lucasbatteries online, Pennine King Power batteries, Ducelier batteries are also a brand that I would recommend and many more. Once you know the car battery that you want simply order it online for “next day delivery”. One more important thing is please dispose of your old battery to your local council tip.
