Panasonic makers of Lithium-Ion rechargable BATTERIES change their name to Primearth EV Energy Co Ltd

Primearth also make Nickel-metal Hydride batteries.

At the moment we all know that the electric cars that are now produced have not been able to complete any distance without needing to have their batteries charged up. These cars are completely emission free but at the moment will not do any distance without requiring their batteries to be charged. The winner at the moment is the hybrid cars that run with an electric and a petrol engine in coordination, in other words the patrol engine charges up the batteries when dis-charged and the two engines work in tandem, these cars do not have 100% emissions but will do any distance like the conventional petrol and diesel engined cars.
This lac of distance problem has spurred Primearth EV Energy into developing a new Lithium-Ion (LiOn) battery that is lighter than the previous LiOn battery pack weighing in with 56 cell battery that can produce 4.4 k/watts and is nearly 4 times more powerful than the early batteries fitted to the Prius. This new battery is almost half the weight and size of the older type battery and it will only take about one and a half hours to re-charge the battery from a standard household power point.
The new Prius will be fitted with a 1.8 petrol engine coupled with a 60k/watt per hour magnetic electric motor and will be capable of doing over 100 mile per gallon another great breakthrough for Toyota and Primearth working in tandem on new battery technologies.

New batteries charging system

The new battery re-charging system uses an ordinary three pin plug that we use here in the UK and so you can plug-in anywhere although if recharging at home it is advisable to get your electrical system checked out, and even have a special plug point fitted and tested to charge up your car.
A very good and comprehensive article about this new system can be found on a great article by Chris Adamson writing in...
