Manchester United “Match Day” a Great Success for Kumho tyres and Pellon tyres.

Kumho tyres held a wonderful day out for the staff of Kumho tyres, dealer network.

A fantastic day in May

Early in April 2011 Eric Roberts received a phone call from Bonnie Adams asking him if any of his staff could play football and would be reasonably fit. The reason for this was that Kumho tyres were holding a match day at the ground of Manchester United. Kumho tyres are a sponsor of Manchester United and hold these special occasions a couple of times a year.

Eric asked all his staff but none of them thought they were fit enough, Thats except one, Erics son Alistair Roberts. Alistair plays for a team in the local Halifax league and continues training through out the Summer. Kumho tyres were thrilled at having Alistair play for one of their teams and Alisatair turned up on the day with his boots and kit.

A great day was had and Alistair met the Manchester United Players

The day was a fantastic affair. All the kumho tyres players did special training in the morning and after lunch played a full blown match on the hallowed Old Trafford pitch before meeting the players and been awarded with a special commemorative trophy so they will always remember this fantastic day out with Kumho tyres and Manchester United football club.
